How this works
Five things, then we start.
- 1
You are on a team
Everyone gets put on a team when we start. Your team name and colour show on your phone and on the big screen.
- 2
Everyone answers, every time
Not just the team whose turn it is. Every phone in the room answers every question, and every team that gets it right scores the full value.
- 3
Your team’s answer is the majority
Whatever most of your team picked is what your team answered. Two right and three wrong scores nothing, and an even split scores half. Your own answer counts towards your team wherever you are sitting.
- 4
You can change your mind
Tap a different answer any time until answers lock. The last tap is the one that counts.
- 5
The last question is a wager
Everyone sets a stake before anyone sees the question, and your team stakes whatever most of you picked. Right adds it. Wrong subtracts it, and so does an even split, because the last one is all or nothing.
One more thing: you might get called on to explain an answer.
If you would rather not be, switch off “OK to be called on” when you join. Nobody will know.
